Welcome to Peddle Perth's 2024 Christmas Lights Tour, your answer to a foot-ache free, fun-filled, and festive experience that saves your soles while adding a sparkle to your soul!

Sit back and relax as we pedal you into the heart of Perth's CBD to discover not just a few, but TWENTY-SEVEN of the city's most spectacular Christmas lights installations. And with us, you get to choose the soundtrack for your 2023 Christmas tale. Will it be Mariah Carey's iconic holiday tunes? Or are you ready for a “Last Christmas” Wham! singalong? Fancy a family rendition of 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer'? Whatever your choice, we'll make sure it's an exciting, memorable, and above all, festive experience! 

The Experience

From the moment you step into our personal chariots, you're signing up for a magical Christmas adventure unlike any other. Our rickshaws, piloted by safe, fit, fun, and experienced Peddlers, are not just transportation; they form the heart and soul of this exciting Christmas journey. Every Peddler is carefully chosen based on their character and trained to prioritize your safety and happiness above all else.

Your evening begins at the WA Museum where you'll meet your Peddler, settle into your rickshaw, and choose the soundtrack of Christmas carols that will accompany us on our route. Kids absolutely adore this experience, but make no mistake - our Christmas Lights Tour is not just for children. From couples and colleagues to Tinder dates and grandparents, we've hosted them all – even political bigwigs like Perth’s Lord Mayor, Basil Zempilas and Member for Perth, John Carey. The Grinch hasn't made it on board yet, but we’re convinced our tour would thaw his frosty heart in no time!

Together, we’ll visit 27 out of 35 Christmas light installations along the Perth trail, as we traverse the city streets. Our Peddlers will regale you with tales and anecdotes about Perth, making each stop at the stunning light installations an event to remember.

And did we mention our Peddlers are also expert photographers? They'll snap beautiful shots of you and your crew with the sparkling city lights as your backdrop and you’ll find yourself saying “that’s going straight to the pool room!” as you look upon the captured joy of Christmas 2023.

The route takes us to iconic Perth locations such as the Cultural Centre, Forrest Chase James St, Kings Square, Yagan Square, King St, the Murray St mall, the Hay St mall, St George’s Terrace and the Cathedral. Prepare to be utterly mesmerised by the incredible light installations that the city unveils each year – you'll be overjoyed you chose our stylish, restful tour over a 4-hour trek on foot!

Can you accommodate everyone, including those with special needs or mobility impairments?

Absolutely! We think everyone has the right to enjoy our tours. If you or someone in your party has special needs or mobility impairments, please leave a note for us upon booking. We will arrange for the most suitable rider to take your tour and ensure they receive a full briefing on your requirements. Whether you have elderly parents that need a hand getting onboard, a child that has sensory issues, or a mate that is stuck in a moon boot, we will work with you before and during your tour to make sure your unique needs are met.

Where can I leave my pram, stroller, or wheelchair during the tour?

If you're bringing along a pram or stroller, we can lock it up for you, or leave it with the museum staff at the starting location.

What's included in the price of my ticket?

When you book our tour, you're not just purchasing a ticket – you're buying a delightful, 45-minute journey into the heart of Perth's Christmas magic. Your package includes your very own personal chauffeur, a seamless glide through the city in a stylish rickshaw, and the boundless joy of festive Christmas carols to set the mood. 

As you recline in comfort, you'll get to savour the enviable feeling of breezing past exhausted families on foot, their weariness in stark contrast to your relaxed enjoyment. In just 45 minutes, you'll be whisked away to 27 of Perth's most enchanting Christmas light installations – the same number you'd only see in 4 tedious hours of walking!

Where does the tour start and end? Can you drop us off somewhere else afterwards?

Our festive journey takes off and concludes at the WA Museum. Due to the action-packed schedule and our commitment to ensure our riders' wellbeing, we, unfortunately, can't accommodate drop-offs at alternate locations during our Christmas Lights Tour.

What if we arrive late for our tour?

To make the most of your Christmas Lights Tour, we strongly recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. In the event that you're running late, your rider will reach out to determine your estimated time of arrival. If there's no response, they will courteously wait for an additional 10 minutes before they have to set off. Due to our frequently bustling schedule, it's uncommon for us to extend tour durations. However, rest assured, if the tour has to be cancelled because of inclement weather, we will always reschedule or refund your booking.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as flexible as possible. Should you need to cancel your tour, we provide the option to reschedule or a full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days in advance. Should Mother Nature intervene and force us to cancel due to bad weather, rest assured, we will always offer to reschedule or refund your tour. For those unforeseen last-minute cancellations, we handle these on a case-by-case basis. Important Ticketing Information

• Bookings are per rickshaw. You only need to book 1 bike for 2 adults.

• We offer several ticketing options to best suit your group’s composition. Whether it’s a family of four or a duo of lovebirds, we’ve got you covered. This way, we can arrange everyone onto bikes in the most comfortable and safe manner. 

• We consider children to be those 13 years and under – they grow up so fast, don’t they?

• Our pedal-powered rickshaws can’t conquer every terrain! We won’t be able to make it to some areas, but fear not! You will witness the stunning festive illuminations in Northbridge, the malls, Council House, King’s Square, and Yagan Square.
